Mike McCarney

Mike is the founder of Legitify and has over 10 years of experience producing, marketing and managing websites. In 1998, Mike co-founded Wilderness Web, an internet marketing service for outdoor adventure guides and eco-tour operators. Soon after selling his business in 2000, Mike went on to found his own web service company, to design, host and manage websites for the eco-tourism industry and other socially responsible businesses. He grew this business to have over 100 clients under his management. Mike began to develop Legitify during 2002 to broaden the scope of services offered and target new markets. Ben Ipsen

Ben discovered his passion and talents for digital media and IT at the young age of 15. A year later Ben became an Intern with GE Corporate for four years where he was an integral part of a large migration project, converting GCO's static website to an active database-driven resource. Since then, Ben has completed a degree in Multimedia Design from I.A.D. Montreal and gone on to work with a handful of interactive media and development firms primarily in Burlington, Vermont where he has introduced many new technologies. Today there remains little Ben can't do. He continues various design and production projects for clients, extending the capablities of Legitify Studio, and is exploring Cocoa application development as a hobby. His creative abilities and strong problem solving background allow Legitify to offer a wider array of services than some of the area's largest interactive firms.

Margo Parris

Born in Cooma, Australia, Margo followed the winter for several years between North America and her home before settling in Vermont in 2005.

She has completed a degree in Media and Communications from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and her background includes both print and web media as well as video. In her recent roles, she has combined her passion for skiing with her media background by filming and producing promotional and educational videos for ski areas.

Her interest in the web grew from the potential for international contact. Margo joined the Legitify team in October 2007. She enjoys working with clients to produce their sites and supporting their migration to the Legitify Studio platform.
